TERMS & CONDITIONS
By placing a booking and securing a garment, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. We kindly ask that you review these prior to renting.
Security Bond
2.1 A bond is required for all garments and will be returned following a careful inspection to ensure the piece is returned in its original condition.
2.2 Should additional cleaning or repairs be required, the bond may be held temporarily until the garment has been restored.
2.3 The bond will not be returned if any alterations/adjustments have been made to the dress that have either affected the quality or appearance of the garment.
Garment Care
3.1 Vhire covers all costs in relation to cleaning the garments. Please do not attempt to clean the garment yourself in any way.
Try-On Appointments
4.1 Try-on appointments are available by request only. You can contact us through Instagram direct message. Appointments are located in Essendon, Victoria.
4.2 Please note, garments are not held for try-ons unless a booking has been secured.
Postage
5.1 In the event of delays caused by Australia Post resulting in your garment not arriving in time, a full refund will be issued.
5.2 All garments are dispatched in time for your event, therefore, postage is unavailable for bookings made less than 4 days prior to the event date. For last-minute requests, please contact us to explore possible rush delivery options.
Rental Period
6.1 For postal hires, garments must be lodged over the counter at an Australia Post office within 24 hours following your event, using the provided prepaid return satchel. For drop-off hires, garments must be returned within 24 hours following your event at the agreed time.
We kindly ask that all returns are made promptly to ensure availability for future bookings. Late returns may incur additional fees at Vhire’s discretion.
Returns
7.1 If a posted garment does not fit or suit your needs, a 50% store credit may be offered, valid for 3 months from the delivery date. To be eligible, the garment must be returned in its original condition within 12 hours of delivery and lodged over the counter at a post office. Postage costs are non-refundable.
7.2 Garments collected from our Essendon location are considered final. Refunds and/or store credits are not available for pick-up orders. If you’re unsure about sizing or fit, we recommend booking a try-on appointment or contacting us directly.
